Funding for Employers Who Provide Training

As you know, in today’s economy it is difficult for employers to hire staff, let alone, find trained staff. While training employees can be costly, did you know California employers contribute funding for training reimbursement through an Employment Training Tax? Do you provide training for your employees? Would funding to support your company training plans be of assistance? Learn how the Employer Training Panel (ETP) funding works to support employers in upgrading the skills of their workers through training that leads to good-paying, long-term jobs. Business Advisor Lourdes Uranday will provide an overview of her experience with obtaining ETP funding for major corporations and businesses like yours.

Learn:

*The ETP application process

*Which types of training qualifies for funding

*Single-Employer Contractor (SEC), Multiple Employer Contractor (MEC), and Critical Proposal maximum funding caps for 2021-22

*Entrepreneurial Training (MEC only)

*Trainee eligibility
