California Capital APEX Accelerator offers a 60-minute virtual webinar focusing on an overview of doing market research to enhance your ability to find and win government solicitations.

In this workshop, we will discuss the following:

1. STATE: FI$Cal SCPRS Search on CAL eProcure:  State Contract & Procurement Registration System (SCPRS) tracks overall total contracting dollars and contracts procured by the State of California. Find out how much, and which state agencies have purchased your product. We’ll also cover 1)how to post Vendor Ads on Cal eProcure: as Sub Looking for A Prime, or Prime Looking for A Sub;  and 2)search and find your competition, which is helpful if you need to fulfill your DVBE requirement.

2. LOCAL: We’ll look at City and County bid websites – and view several of the ‘bid conglomerators’ such as Planet Bids and Higher Gov.

3. FEDERAL: USA Spending is a big-picture view of the federal spending landscape. It is the official open data source of federal spending information and tracks how federal money is spent in communities across America and beyond. We will also take a quick look at SAM.gov and how to find current, open bids.
