CA Women’s Economic Summit
A statewide gathering focused on advancing women’s wealth-building, economic mobility, and small business growth.
The California Women’s Economic Summit is a high-impact, statewide convening hosted by the California Women’s Business Centers Network (CA WBC). This one-day summit brings together women entrepreneurs, small business support organizations, policymakers, funders, educators, and corporate leaders to spotlight how women-owned and women-led businesses are central to California’s economic future.
Women are starting businesses at record rates — yet gaps in access to capital, procurement opportunities, childcare infrastructure, and wealth-building pathways remain. This summit focuses on solutions including:
- Elevating the role of women-owned and women-led enterprises in California’s economic resilience
- Advancing policy and funding solutions in: Childcare business expansion; Rural entrepreneurship; Workforce-aligned business development; and Immigrant-owned business continuity
- Strengthening collaboration among the small business ecosystem
- Actionable tools, capital pathways, and scalable strategies for women entrepreneurs
- Practical strategies for scaling women-led businesses
