Starting a New Business & Federal Taxes
In this session, we will provide a basic overview of what you need to know about federal taxes for individuals starting a business, as well as additional tax resources.
We will cover:
• the purpose of the Employer Identification number (EIN)
• basic bookkeeping and accounting methods
• common forms of business organizations and much more
The big bill can have a significant effect on federal taxes, credits, and deductions.
We will provide a brief summary on how those changes could impact tax return filing and steps you can take to get ready to file your federal income tax return.
